Syria is still facing significant challenges, and the situation remains dire for many people. While the intensity of active conflict has decreased in some areas, the country is grappling with long-term consequences of the civil war that began in 2011. Approximately 7.2 million Syrians are internally displaced, with many living in overcrowded camps or makeshift shelters. Many others are unable to return to their homes due to ongoing instability or destruction. Widespread destruction of infrastructure, including homes, schools, hospitals, and roads, continues to hinder recovery efforts.
This 9th February, CHILDRITY team will be traveling to Syria to implement the Ihya’ Syria : The Revival of Syria project. This projects aims to ensure the well-being, warmth, and safety of extremely vulnerable households in Syria, especially who affected by earthquake, from the severe winter conditions through the provision of heating materials, food packs, and shelter kits. The project will focus on assisting 625 displaced and most vulnerable families by providing them with the necessary winterization needs.
Let’s come together to support Syria’s recovery and help rebuild lives, communities, and hope for a brighter future. Every effort counts in making a meaningful difference.
