RAMADAN MISSION CSM 10.0 – Syria 2023

Syrian refugees in Turkiye constitute one of the largest refugee populations in the world. Turkiye has been hosting these refugees since the beginning of the Syrian Civil War in 2011. As of recent estimates, there are around 3.6 million Syrian refugees in Turkiye. Ramadan Mission CINTA SYRIA MALAYSIA (CSM) in cooperation with CHILDRITY was accomplished on 4^th April to 14^th April 2023.

• We went to Nizip Refugee Camp in Gaziantep, Turkiye where 400 Syrian refugees’ families take shelter after the earthquake in February.
• We distributed 1800 food packs, 275 sahoor and iftaar packs, 250 hot meals and 100 baju raya vouchers.
• We hosted an iftar gathering for 400 individuals at the camp.
• We entered Syria to visit MySyria : Kampung Kita CSM project at Tal Abyad. This project was established to move 20 Syrian refugees’ families that took shelter in a school in Tal Abyad. Each houses in Kampung Kita CSM has 2 bedrooms, toilet and a kitchen. The cost for this project was approximately RM42,500.
• We provided snack packs, each valued at $35, to the children in Idlib, Syria.
