Mission
On 31 August 2025, a magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck eastern Afghanistan, centred near Nurgal District in Kunar Province. Thousands of families were affected, with homes destroyed, lives disrupted, and urgent needs growing on the ground.
On 3rd November, the Childrity team will be heading to Afghanistan for the Kunar Earthquake Mission, delivering urgent one-off relief to affected families.
