We’re on a Mission

CHILDRITY will bring hope and warmth to 150 families enduring the brutal Afghan winter in dug houses in Project Hamdard area in Mazar-e Shariff, by providing them with the essential supplies they need to survive the freezing nights and find solace amidst the cold. Each family will be gifted the warmth of survival – 25kg charcoal to keep their homes alive with heat, 50kg flour to address hunger and provide essential support, a blanket to wrap their loved ones in comfort, and 1000 Afghani as cash assistance to meet their specific needs with dignity and flexibility. The distribution of these life-saving essentials will take place from January 27th to 31st.

In virtue of inadequate documentation, thousands of children in Semporna, Sabah are precluded to pursue education at public schools. Our core initiative in Semporna is RUANG ISKUL – an alternative school for these stateless children, to bridge them to educational access and to turn their future around. We believe for every child deserves the rights to education, however not all are fortunate to access to education, or a proper one.

RUANG Kita, a cabin school in the Abu Abdullah Camp in Mafraq, Jordan, offers alternative learning pathways to 35 primary school students and 8 preschoolers to help students bridge learning gaps and prepare for potential enrollment in formal schools.. As a consequence of overcrowding and shortened hours in public schools, quality of education, psychosocial and language barriers, we embarked on #RUANGkita project. Let’s stand by us to sustain this #RUANGkita as we believe every child deserves the rights to education.
